Function description
In the calibration laboratory of EMS, gas measuring equipment is calibrated. This is equipment developed by EMS to detect molecules in the air. The measuring equipment consists of intelligent sensors and e-noses as well as complex analysis equipment. In addition, new equipment is currently being developed from a completely new development path that must be tested and tried in the calibration department before it can be put into the field for testing.
EMS has long-term development themes and these are defined as long-term goals for VOC measurements in various agricultural and medical applications. The VOC measurements are measured with state-of-the-art sensor systems. A zero series of these sensors is now being produced and must be tested in both the lab and the practical situation.
The lab and calibration specialist carries out calibrations of gas measuring equipment and is responsible for the final inspection of this measuring equipment. For existing products, maintenance is applied to sensors consisting of changing components or performing updates. The calibration installations are maintained by the specialist. When developing new products, you will be involved in the operation of the gas measuring equipment and you will be involved in the development team to arrive at improved products.

More information / informal
EMS has approximately 20 employees and is a technology-driven company with pioneers. EMS develops and produces products that have not previously been marketed in the capacity that EMS builds them. EMS has a flat organizational structure and we are looking for colleagues who can handle their own responsibility well and who know how to find their own way very well. EMS is a company with so-called vertical integration. This means that in practice you will have to deal with colleagues from completely different disciplines. Think of a mechanical department with milling, turning and welding work, a fitting department for electronics, an assembly department, a research laboratory, an engineering department and in the future a research department with a cleanroom.
Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) BV
EMS produces and markets advanced systems for gas measurements in the chemical, food and agricultural industries. EMS operates on the principle: “Technology meets nature.” The evolution of technology causes a deterioration of the environment. However, with the latest techniques, solutions and improvements can be offered for this. The basis of the experience was laid in 2002 in the food industry.
EMS is a high-tech driven company where gas measurement systems are developed, produced and sold to the agricultural and food industry. EMS develops sensors, electronics and mechanics for this. EMS has departments such as electronics development, electronics production, precision engineering, turning and milling department, software department and a laboratory.
Research, product development, production and sales of these gas and dust measurement systems are carried out in-house or under supervision. Most products find their way onto the market under the brand name MACView®.
We have the ambition to continue to grow in the coming years with the new products that are currently being developed and rolled out onto the market.
